INTERIOR DESIGN
Challenge
One of the key challenges in the project involves addressing the integration of a significant number of live plants into the interior without natural sunlight. Additionally, there is a need for designing bespoke furniture, including an intriguing reception area, utilizing natural materials. Moreover, the limited space posed a constraint, necessitating creative solutions to expand the available space.
Goal
Crafting a distinctive and contemporary interior design for a nail studio in Sopot, drawing inspiration from a completed project in Gdansk. A complete overhaul of the stylistic approach and color palette, emphasizing the creation of an atmosphere that blends elements of Japandi style with a focus on incorporating natural materials.
Solution
The project introduced captivating concepts, such as incorporating live plants into the countertop with a sink and arranging numerous plants in containers capable of thriving without direct sunlight. A designated area for pedicure and manicure was highlighted, preserving elements of the previous interior due to expensive utilities and existing infrastructure. To enhance space, mirrors were proposed on the walls. Unique cabinets with semi-circular elements, accentuating rounded mirrors, were developed and designed. All solutions were executed in a warm beige palette with materials resembling wood. The sink was crafted from solid stone. Additionally, to overcome the challenge of limited space, the wall separating the area from the lobby was replaced with glass, further expanding the spatial perception.
